Meet Our Staff

Randy Phillips

Owner
Randy was born in Globe, AZ, and grew up hunting and fishing with his Dad and his family. He doesn’t fish much anymore, but does hunt every chance he has. In 1989, he opened Archery Headquarters and has served on the board of the Archery Trade Association (ATA) for about a dozen years. Randy is on the Arizona Bowhunters Association board as the Game & Fish liaison. Randy’s passion for bowhunting comes through in his customer service and vast knowledge-base; whenever he has the opportunity, he tries to give something back to the sport.

Tina Robb

Academy Manager/Program Coordinator
Tina comes from a strong archery family background. Her father shot for ASU in the ’70s and was a very strong influence in getting her into the sport. She began shooting in 2012 as a recreational archer, just punching holes in paper and having fun. She got the competitive bug soon after and has been shooting in both local and national tournaments since. Under the instruction of the former head coach of the U.S. Olympic Team, she has gained a ton of knowledge and experience.  She plans to continue growing in the sport and is very excited to coach and introduce new people to archery.

Grant Fobert

Customer Service Representative/Bow Technician
Grant started his archery career in the late 80’s. While receiving training from Randi Smith, he placed 3rd in the Vegas Shoot among other state accomplishments. Grant joins us from a small shop in Central Coast, CA where he coached JOAD. Although predominantly a recurve shooter, his interest has spread to compound and he currently has his fingers crossed for any hunting opportunity to come his way.

Travis Browning

Arizona native. “If it crawls it falls. If it flies it dies.” Into all things outdoors. Travis is an avid hunter and off-trail explorer.

Brent Perkins

Customer Service Representative/Bow Technician
Brent is an Arizona native and Eagle Scout with a passion for all things outdoors which all began at the age of two when he reeled in his first trout. While studying business at NAU he started the NAU Fishing Club for the purpose of competing in the FLW College Bass Circuit. If he’s not working at the shop, you might find him in the mountains enjoying the great outdoors with family, friends and his trusted companion Kona the black labrador retriever.
